Pendix products are designed and manufactured with high quality materials and components that are recyclable and reusable. So that you can also make your contribution to preserve the environment in which we live, we provide the following information on disposal:

WEEE Directive / Electrical and Electronic Equipment Act (ElektroG)

Separate collection of waste electrical and electronic equipment that has become waste after use is referred to as waste equipment. Owners of old appliances are required to collect them separately from unsorted municipal waste. In particular, old appliances should not be disposed of with household waste but in special collection and return systems. The products themselves or their packaging are marked with this symbol to identify such waste electrical and electronic equipment.

Waste batteries and accumulators which are not enclosed by the waste equipment shall be separated from the waste equipment at a collection point prior to delivery.

Owners of Pendix waste equipment from private households can return it directly to the collection points of the public waste disposal authorities or to the seller or manufacturer. For the disposal of the old equipment with us you can send it to the following address:

Privacy Notice WEEE may contain sensitive personal data. This applies in particular to information and telecommunications technology devices such as computers and smartphones. In your own interest, please note that each end user is responsible for deleting the data on the old devices to be disposed of.

Battery Directive / Battery Act (BattG)

Separate collection of used batteries As manufacturers and distributors of rechargeable batteries, we are obliged under the Battery Act (BattG) to draw your attention to the following points: Batteries and rechargeable batteries must not be disposed of with household waste, this is indicated by the following symbol of the crossed-out dustbin, which can be found on the rechargeable batteries or their packaging. As an end user, you are legally obliged to return used batteries and accumulators.

Under this symbol you will also find the following symbols with the following meaning: Pb: Battery contains lead / Cd: Battery contains cadmium / Hg: Battery contains mercury Old batteries can contain harmful substances that can harm the environment or your health if not stored or disposed of properly. However, batteries also contain important raw materials such as iron, zinc, manganese or nickel and can be recycled.

You can either return used batteries after use free of charge in the immediate vicinity (e.g. in shops or in municipal collection points) or send them back to us. The sale at points of sale is limited to the quantities customary for end users and to those spent batteries which the distributor carries or has carried as new batteries in its product range.
